This week Conor and Luke talk Wild Card, the new Jason Statham movie – a remake of Heat starring Burt Reynolds. Blade Runner comes up again for Table Time, and yes, Bud Yorkin comes under fire. Never retreat, never surrender.
This week’s show features one of Conor and Luke’s favourite films, Face/Off, it’s great, it’s got John Travolta and Nicolas Cage and it’s directed by John Woo, John Woo! We also kick off our Scandinavian Season with Headhunters, a twisted tale of burglary and short-man syndrome. Table Time includes a plug for Chuckie Dregs, the new video game magazine show by Ryan Macleod of Consolevania and Video Gaiden fame. Conor gets tricked into watching another love triangle with Snow White and the Huntsman.

Cobra is a great movie, Sylvester Stallone is in it. He’s a no nonsense cop, he has a knife, an elaborate looking gun and neat hair. Leon, he’s a guy who’s an assassin who takes in a little girl, that Natalie Portman’s in it. It’s sweet! Table Time brings sees some Sleeping Dogs lying.. on the… Table Time!
This week Conor and Luke check out Gareth Evan’s The Raid, a masterfully executed martial arts thriller from Indonesia which reunites Evans and Merantau star Iko Uwais. This week also sees a special guest appearance from Sesame Street’s own The Cookie Monster!
Join Conor and Luke as they praise the true King of Rock and Roll, Nicolas Cage in his new action/drama film Seeking Justice. The Horror Season continues with Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street. All this and more this week. Choo choo!
