This week on the show Conor and Luke look back to one of the great adventure films of the 1980s, The Goonies.  We conclude our screwball comedy season with What’s Up Doc? Table Time also gives thumbs up to Emo Phillips, Radio Lab and The Tobolowsky Files.

The two-part special on Roger Corman concludes this week with Targets and Tomb of Ligeia. Our third movie in the boxing season is John Huston’s Fat City. For Table Time we discuss Treme and Sons Of Anarchy. Question Time is particularly exciting because Conor and Luke received a question, and you better believe they answered it.

Cheerfully Inaccurate

When Luke said “that really hits the spot, doesn’t it?”

Conor replied “Yes it is,” which is grammatically incorrect. Luke pointed this out with malicious glee after the show.

There is no music before the third section.  We done messed up during the editing!

CLARKE (not Simon) PETERS played Lester Freeman in The Wire.
