Don’t forget to check out Near Film (www.nearfm.ie) this Thursday at 6 o’clock to hear Luke and Conor talk film noir with Helen Ryan.
This week Conor and Luke take you on a musical discovery tour that brings you from last week’s Tex Ritter/ Marty Robbins Pale Rider theme to this week’s Nick Cave High Plains Drifter Theme. And all a capella too. High Plains Drifter is of course the second part of the spooky western double bill. For the sports season, Goal was discarded and Cool Runnings made the cut, you’ll hear how it works as a pretty cool sports drama even though Conor and Luke don’t think it’s that funny.
This week Conor and Luke begin a two part spooky western special with Pale Rider, to continue next week with High Plains Drifter. The Sports Movie season starts with The Replacements. Table Time sees further talk about Sex and the City, even though neither Conor nor Luke like that show even a little bit. (They also talk about David Attenborough’s Life, Fear 3 and Meet Monica Velour)
This week Conor and Luke talk to three young filmmakers who have decided to turn a student film project into a feature film.
Mike Santoro, Zach Heaton and Chris Read talk about how they decided to make a western in New Mexico and what you can do to help make it happen.

If you’re as enthused about their project as we are, visit their Kickstarter page and make whatever donation you can.
